I offer a warm, compassionate, and relational approach to therapy, providing a safe space where you can explore your experiences without judgement. I understand that many of the difficulties we face in adulthood are rooted in our relationships and early life experiences. Together, we can make sense of these patterns, helping you develop greater self-understanding, emotional resilience, and healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

 

I have experience supporting adults with trauma, including childhood and relational trauma, as well as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, bereavement, relationship difficulties, and family issues. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by past experiences or struggling with current relationships, therapy can help you move towards lasting change.

 

My work is tailored to your individual needs and combines a thoughtful, practical counselling approach with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) where appropriate. EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing or traumatic memories so they become less emotionally overwhelming. Many people find it enables them to move beyond experiences that have felt "stuck," reducing the impact of trauma and allowing them to engage more fully with life.

 

I work in Bank and offer an initial consultation, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about how I work, and decide whether we feel like the right fit. A strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of effective therapy, and I aim to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported from the very beginning.
