About me

"I would like to thank you so much for helping me through my difficult period. You helped me to understand my  mixed up emotions, to bring clarity to my thoughts and awareness to  patterns of behaviour."

"Talking to a qualified Counsellor and not to a relative was certainly decisive to solve and overcome the impasse I was into.  I can say that such process raised my awareness, independence and personal growth."

The Way I Work

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) with 10 years counselling experience.

I work with both young teenagers and adults.  I am experienced in a wide spectrum of issues.  These include stress, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, self-harm, bereavement, separation, abuse, addictions and many more.

My training as a yoga teacher has added to my 'toolbox' of counselling techniques. I now broaden the focus to consider lifestyle and dietary issues, and consider how medications may be impacting quality of life. I implement a more 'holistic' approach to the difficulties my clients face.

I teach techniques of 'mindfulness' and self-awareness which are enormously helpful in everyday life. These techniques boost one's capacity to think clearly and creatively.  More practically, they provide definite ways to deal with anxiety, stress, and depression as they occur in daily life.
